The text: "Amanda Yates presents "Water Sports," a video installations seeking to examine the relationship between desire and horror. Erika Suderburg presents "BRICK," a video insertion into existing architectural space fashioned from National Archives U.S. Army documentary footage of the Rubble Women (Trümmerfrauen) who cleared out bombed Berlin after World War II brick by brick. Evelyn Serrano presents "Island No. 3 ( A Place Like Any Other)" three video and sound vignettes challenging notions of home, homeland and the domestic space. Johnny Coleman is still ruminating. Kadet Kuhne presents "Holding Pattern" an interactive video installation about conditioned reactions as they relate to issues of control. Since 1988, Nancy Buchanan & Carolyn Potter have fabricated 5 different miniature sculptures with video. For "Mono/a", they are re-vamping a scale-model mansion completed in the early '90s which will play new video. Shannon Noble presents "This is Vlog," a work executed through a computer-networked (internet) online community where video instead of text is the main component."
