L.A. Riverfront Greenway, (DCA), Los Angeles, CA (commissioned 2002)
A site-specific public art feature, comprised of 4 discrete sculptural elements, located on the knoll and on two of the main walkways at the L.A. Riverfront Park.
Brass (etched and jet-cut) and stainless steel works, sited in landscaped park.
“View Finders” consist of sculptures that take the form of podiums and lecterns. Each is topped by a framing device, like those used during the Renaissance, for drawing from nature. Each is also adorned with poetry fragments, culled from poems about the L.A. River.
